Fernando Forestieri has once again been left out of Sheffield Wednesdays match-day squad. After a training ground 'bust-up' with fellow team-mate Sam Winnall, Forestieri was subsequently dropped from the Owls first home league game of the season against Queens Park Rangers.
Surprisingly, the Wednesday number 45 was also dropped for the following league tie against Sunderland, leaving many Wednesdayites wondering if Forestieri's days at the club are numbered.
Although Forestieri is a fans favourite at S6 due to his creativity and work-rate, previous issues surrounding the player have not gone un-noticed. A year ago, the little Argentinian was left out of the Owls squad against Norwich having claimed he wasn't 'mentally prepared' to play as speculation of a move away from the club was on the rise.
With the end of the transfer window looming, is it time for the Owls to cash in on Forestieri if an offer of significance was thrown down on the table? Or, should Carvalhal give the Wednesday playmaker another chance to prove his worth in the starting eleven?
