Welcome to my website
Having always had a keen interest in both football and writing, I completed my Sports Journalism Diploma in 2015 to accompany my BA Hons Degree in Sports Studies.
My commitment to Sports Journalism started whilst working in Events at Sky. Sky Sports News editor Laurie Tucker guided me through this process during the early stages of my education as I received continued support from my employer.
Consequently, my football writing journey began when I started working and reporting on Sheffield Wednesday for Shoot football magazine in spring of 2015. The main bulk of my day-to-day work consisted of keeping up to date with exclusive news, writing articles, blogging and conducting interviews.
Since then, as a freelance football writer, other work and contributions include many iconic and national publications. These include; Sporf, Late Tackle Magazine, Transfer Bible, Sheffield Star, Here In The City Sport, Yorkshire Post, Paddy Power, World Cup Bible, Football League World and Vital Wednesday, amongst others. I have also been lucky enough to interview football players past & present as well as other sporting celebrities. Also, in 2018 I gained my FA accreditation to report on the Under-17 European Championships on English soil.
I also host on the Championship Round Table Podcast (@ChampionshipPod) for the @EPLIndex, sister podcast of the @EPLRoundTable. This is a weekly discussion on English football's second tier.
You may find I often tweet the odd football statistic too, hence my creation of the '#SWFCSTATS' hashtag on Twitter, this is just a little obsession of mine.
