About us
The Championship Round Table was established in the Spring of 2016 and is owned and powered by the @EPLIndex or www.eplindex.com. Our sister podcast, the @EPLRoundTable began many years previous and boosts tens of thousands of listeners per episode.
As the Championship Round Table is a relatively new development, we are continuously striving to improve. We recently created our Twitter homepage @ChampionshipPod in October 2017 for the listeners/followers to keep up to date with the latest Championship Round Table Podcast releases. Our podcasts are released on a week-by-week basis.
The latest podcasts will always be available on Twitter through our pinned tweet, we are also available through Acast, Apple iTunes Podcasts or through our very own website eplindex.com.
To date, we usually average up to 4,000 listeners per episode and we are hoping to see this rise in due course as our popularity expands.

Meet the team
Jake Jackmann (left) - Jake is the Championship Round Table’s producer and supports Newcastle United. As a regular guest on the @EPLRoundTable, Jake was left with a heavy heart as the Magpies were relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2015/16 league campaign, subsequently Jake was unable to discuss his beloved Newcastle United on the @EPLRoundTable. Therefore, Jake formed the Championship Round Table to ease his suffering and is now doing a fantastic job as producer of the show with the occasional podcast appearance. Jake also writes for The Boot Room, NUFC360 as well as the EPLIndex. You can follow or tweet our producer Jake @JakeJackmann
James Vickers (middle) - James is the host of the Championship Round Table podcast and has done this role since the beginning of the 2017/18 season. He travels home and away to support the club he loves, Preston North-End. James is a regular writer for the Deepdale Digest where he keeps up to date with ongoing current affairs. He also has a keen interest in German football and follows the Bundesliga very closely. His alternative passion is wrestling (watching, not taking part) Thankfully, James doesn't take himself too seriously, as you can tell from his photo. You can follow or tweet our podcast host James @_JamesVickers
Louis Shackshaft (right) - Louis became an affiliate with the podcast back in October 2017, with Jake and James, he runs the @ChampionshipPod Twitter account. As a regular guest on the Championship Round Table, Louis also hosts the show when James is hung over or simply can't be bothered. Louis supports Sheffield Wednesday and often writes or blogs about his favored club for numerous publications. He also has a passion for Sheffield Wednesday statistics and these can be found on his Twitter handle @LouisShackshaft
